2012 Half Marathon - We are accepting entries now

We are accepting entries through RUNNERS WORLD for the 2012 event.


We are hoping to publish application forms through this site before the end of 2011 if you would prefer to enter that way.

The Needles XC Half Marathon 2012

You will pleased to know that the Committee has decided to go ahead with the Needles XC half-marathon  for another year.

The date is Sunday May 27th, 2012 


We hope to be accepting entries by the end of this year.

Results

One hundred and forty runners completed this years event, we had cooler weather than in recent years and we were fortunate that we missed the worst of the rain.


Results: First man home was Chris Morey of IWRR who finished with the time of 1:24:41. First woman back was Rhiannon Shepherd who got back with the time of 1:34:24. The team event was won by the Isle of Wight Road Runners.

Todays Event

Thanks for taking part in this years event. Overall it went very smoothly and we were lucky with the weather. I will be posting the results online later this evening
