West Wight Road Runners would like to thank.......

THE NATIONAL TRUST who are very keen for runners to enjoy their beautiful and well kept stretches of landscape, that form part of the route, with stunning views from Headon Warren, the Needles Battery and Tennyson Down .….. while “raising their heartbeat” and keeping fit!

- NEEDLES PARK (the route passes through the Park at approx 8 miles) who have provided sponsorship by providing, from Alum Bay Glass, trophies for the two winners of the event, as well as some other spot prizes.

- WEST WIGHT SPORTS CENTRE for their ongoing support in allowing us to use their facilities as a headquarters, and to their staff who are always very supportive on the day.

- WEST WIGHT ROTARY, VENTNOR LIONS AND GREEN GYM for manning our three checkpoints/water stations.

- RYDE HARRIERS for providing us with a Race Referee and Timekeeper and software for the race results

- DEES SCAFFOLDING for their help in the start/finish area.

- WIGHTLINK for generously offering discounted prices to entrants.

BETAPAK LTD for donating the bottled water for the end of the race

- LOVE RUNNING - the Island’s running shop, for donating prizes and publicising the event.
