The committee have agreed to organise the race again in 2009. The date will be set probably in September although it is likely to be in early June or late May.

Early June as in the Sunday at end of the school holiday week please. Wife is a teacher and if it's not that weekend we would struggle to make it and it's a great race - August could be HOT.
Sometime in the Holidays would be nice. that way a Day trip can turn into a Long weekend/week. Isle of white is a great place. Just happy that it's being run
Sorry I have amended the post, it should have said late MAY not August.
The last weekend of May would be ideal and I could bring my family down. 1st week of June would also maybe work.
Really looking forward to it after running it last year.
Great event & great first prizes, but given the size of the fields what about prizes for second, third and vets?
